Delicious homemade frikkadels are a good lunch box idea

500g beef mince

1 thick slice of white bread soaked in milk

1 egg

3 Tbsp sunflower oil

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, crushed

2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 Tbsp dried thyme

dash Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Cut the crust from the bread and soak it in milk. Remove, squeeze the milk out and place in mixing bowl. Heat oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion and garlic on medium until transparent, about five minutes. Remove from the pan and combine with the rest of the ingredients in the bowl. Mix well and roll into small balls. Heat more oil in a large frying pan and brown the meatballs, about five minutes on each side. Reduce the heat and fry until cooked, about 15 to 20 minutes. Let them cool down and store in the fridge.
